Laura Shmania's popular Flowers photos

Freelance Photography by Laura Shmania-- Chapel Hill, NC

The literal meaning of the word photography is “light writing.” As a photographer, I am a student of light, color, form, perspective, texture, and composition. My quest is to capture the magical qualities of light and the beauty in life's fleeting moments; to tell a story.
Thanks for stopping by. Please check back regularly, as I add new photos every day!

My photos have appeared in numerous publications, as well as solo and group art shows. I am available for assignments- events and artists/musicians promotional. Contact me for rates.

To see photos I have taken for the Carolina Friends School - theatre, dance, sports, school life- click here
